Simon James – RSJ Investments
Simon is a chartered surveyor who has worked in the property industry for 12 years and has significant experience in fund management, student accommodation and commercial property. He worked as a valuer for Donaldons and then as an investment agent in the West End for GVA. In 2005 he joined Invista Real Estate Investment management and ran a portfolio in excess of £300 million for property funds such as Clerical Medical, Halifax and St James’s Place. He founded RSJ Investments with Roger James in 2010. RSJ work closely with Cignet advising on both commercial and residential acquisitions.

John White - Commercial Property Consultant 
John has been active in the property investment market based in London for over 22 years as a former partner at Cushman & Wakefield and more recently at niche fund manager Pinder Fry & Benjamin where he transacted around £1bn. John has an extensive contact base throughout a wide spectrum of the property world, together with a commercial transactional skill set. In terms of the mainstream commercial investment market he has two distinct areas of expertise, namely Central London and pre-let forward funding of developments UK wide.

David Taylor - Insolvency Sourcing
David was formerly Managing Director of Chesterton plc, Residential Division. The Division comprised 16 London offices, 1 in Manchester and 1 in Newcastle. Services offered included Sales, Lettings, and New Homes & Developments. More recently joined Phoenix Group as Director. Phoenix has purchased the assets of around 40 businesses out of insolvency.  Consequently David has built numerous high quality relationships with Insolvency Practitioners. CIGNET benefit from utilising David's expertise to provide insolvent property opportunities for our clients and partners.

James Shaw - Investor Relations

31 Years in the Army retiring as a Major General, having commanded the largest deployable formation in Land Command with a £1B resource Control Total and a Cash Control total of £350M annually. Qualified in Company Direction. Four years working for the Lyle Anderson Companies as Vice President - Business Development, raising capital, particularly for Loch Lomond Golf Club. Runs his own Business Consultancy Company called Shillong. Extremely well connected to High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth individuals.

Derek Rees - Property Industry Network
Over 20 years in the construction industry, Derek is Chief Executive of SECBE (South East Centre for the Built Environment - www.secbe.org.uk) with extensive experience and understanding of the issues affecting the built environment sector in the South East and has a wide network of contacts within industry and government bodies. Trained in construction management, Derek gained his broader knowledge of the industry through his work with the Construction Industry Board, the national strategic forum for construction.
