This combined team provides our partners and clients with a powerfully effective channel to securing property assets at significant discounts and favourable credit terms where needed. Executive Team Charles Hallett - Managing Partner Charles has worked in the property arena for more than 10 years, having initially concentrated on residential refurbishments and building a residential property portfolio across London and the South East. Charles founded a successful on-line property sourcing portal and then went on to form the team that is now CIGNET in 2008. Charles' principal skills are in the sourcing of property acquisitions, deal negotiation and successful building of relationships with key partners. Previously Charles was a founding director of an ATM cash machine business and was instrumental in the investment round that lead to its subsequent flotation on AIM just 34 months later with a market capitalisation of approx £12m.
Richard Fryer - Partner, Acquisitions & Asset Management
Richard has 25 years of experience in UK and European property investment and development markets. He started in the mid eighties with a niche west end agency advising high net worth clients and the Grosvenor Estate. Latterly he has worked for UK PLCs including The Berkeley Group and YOO on mixed use development projects. Richard has an enviable network of property contacts across London and the South East and has a keen eye for the right deal on the right terms. Richard is responsible for sourcing and appraising transactions as well as asset management.
Ian Dougall - Partner, Operations & Property Management
Served 10 years in HM Forces, The Royal Scots (The Royal Regiment) reaching the rank of Major. Upon leaving Ian focused on a career in residential property investment and development and amongst other achievements he built a property portfolio of some 37 properties over a single 18 month period, all secured at discounted purchase prices. Ian is responsible for deal analysis and ongoing management as well as sourcing deals through his own extensive network of property contacts.
Guy Rees - Partner, Investor Relations
Guy provides an interesting mixture of successful commercial career, social entrepreneur and property investor, with property interests across the UK but mainly in the South East. Business experience includes the health, leisure, sport, technology, food, and education sectors. He enjoys managing strategic & commercial partnerships at senior and Board level and is especially strong in business development and investor relations. Having raised significant finance for a number of different businesses and funding for a number of charitable trusts, Guy brings to CIGNET the ability to secure, manage and satisfy the ongoing requirements of our investor networks.
