We would like to say a big thank you to all those who attended the inaugural Cignet St George’s Day celebrity golf at Stoke Park recently. The support of the celebrities and guests is hugely appreciated and has helped us raise a significant amount for our principal charities. We are still totting up the final figure so come back to this page soon when we will announce the grand total.

You can download a copy of the event brochure - simply click the brochure image (please note it is a large file size).

The day was blessed with beautiful sunshine and even the best efforts of the volcanic ash could not keep most of our guests away - although a few were prevented from travelling, others stepped in to take their places to ensure a full head count.

Congratulations to the winners of the stableford golf, team Strand Hanson who were playing with Jason Leonard. Jason was spotted still celebrating his victory on Friday night in Mayfair!

Thank you also to the volunteers from the armed forces who provided help throughout the day, manned the Pimm's and West Cornwall Pasties tent and fired the tank to announce the 'shotgun' start to the golf. A special thanks to Matt Chapman from Sky Sports, who kindly donated a full day of interviewing throughout the golf and was MC for the charity dinner and auction.

There was generous bidding both in the live and silent auctions with guests winning some amazing prizes including tickets to the final two days of the Masters golf at Augusta in 2011 - a truly 'money can't buy' prize.

Thanks also to all the main sponsors listed at the top of this page - without their support we would not have been able to hold the event and we look forward hopefully to working with them again on next year's event. This will be held on Thursday 28th April 2011 - to register your interest and pre-book your spaces (we were heavily oversubscribed this year) please email Guy Rees, Event Chairman, at guy@cignetgroup.com and request a booking form.

The event was photographed by Gill Shaw and Florentia Buckingham. Please click here to see pictures of the day's golf and the evening celebrations or click on the link at the top of the page. You can order copies with all profits going towards the grand total of the amount raised for our charities.

Cignet is proud to have organised this event and we look forward to an equally successful day next year and to beating this year's total cash raised. Some of our partners and advisors have personal links to the charities involved and we are delighted to have been able to help support their worthwhile causes.

Finally, if you were unable to join us but would still like to pledge support, you can do so by downloading our Pledge Form to make a donation.
